When there is no DNS setting (dns set to "none") and comparisons of old and new
settings are analyzed, there is an NPE.  Rare not to have DNS so no one has
seen this before:

java.lang.NullPointerException
     at org.globus.workspace.network.defaults.Util.getNewAssoc(Util.java:328)
     at org.globus.workspace.network.defaults.Util.loadDirectory(Util.java:256)
