MDS2 is officially deprecated from GT, but the gram reporter has some lingering
bits in CVS. These should be removed, as well as the configuration options
related to it in the job manager. VDT has a patch
(http://vdt.cs.wisc.edu/patches/1.10.1/072__no-gram-reporter.diff) which
removes some of the configuration-related parts.

The patches for these are committed to 4.2 branch and trunk.
