<thetext>When configuring the Video Producer Service (the one that lets you configure
vic for s-video/composite, etc.), there is no option to switch from NTSC to PAL.

Tom suggested that this should have a severity of 'enhancement', which might be
the case if you're in the US, but if you're in Europe, it feels like a core
requirement, so I'm sticking with the severity normal.

(Incidentally, although in principle you can go to your video machine to
manually alter the signal from NTSC to PAL, this is not possible on
Manchester's set up, because our video machine can't handle 25 fps. And the
configuration program doesn't allow us to reduce the fps. So it would be nice
if fps was configurable as well.)</thetext>

<thetext>Fixed in CVS (VideoProducerService.py), will be included in 2.1.

(Incidentally, fps can be modified in the 2.0 code; it is adjusted via the
slider next to the textbox (the textbox itself is uneditable). The slider
doesn't fit in the window; stretch the window wider to make the slider visible,
and it can be modified.)</thetext>
